Clark upgrades cutting and bending technologies
- January 25, 2017
We are pleased to announce the addition of a state-of-the-art fiber laser and 2 new press brakes. With the acquisition of the Bystronic BySprint fiber laser, Clark Metal Products will be able to reduce cutting time, allowing for more efficient product flow through our value streams. The fiber laser, coupled with the ByTrans Extended and the ByTower automated material handling system will be put to work for lights-out operations. The addition of this new machine to Clark’s arsenal of cutting equipment will continue to enhance our capacity for future growth and progress, while providing improved service to our customers.
To support our increased cutting capacity, Clark has invested in 2 Trumpf 5085 SX press brakes. These brakes represent a significant upgrade over our current bending capabilities. The Trumpf press brake technology offers several unique features that best support our diverse product mix and the high level of quality our customers expect from Clark Metal.
We look forward to this equipment playing a significant role in allowing us to achieve our growth goals in 2017.
