Charitable giving continues to be a priority in 2017 at Clark Metal Products. Employees raise money each month through raffles, sub sales, and weekly $5 donations to wear jeans on Thursdays. The company matches the dollar amount raised by the employees, and that amount is donated to the charity of the month.
In June our monthly charity we donated $260.00 to the Alice Paul House. The Alice Paul House offers services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and other violent crime. Clark Cares selected Wounded Warriors as our charity for the month of July. The Wounded Warriors organization helps veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families. Our charity for August is ICCAP’s Power Pack Program: The Power Pack Program provides kid-friendly, nutritious food to hundreds of children across the county who may not have sufficient food over the weekends. Food is discreetly loaded into the backpacks of those at-risk children while they are in class so that when they leave to go home for the weekend they will not go hungry.
