Management Bios

David Clark, Jr., President
David received a B.A. from Washington & Jefferson College in 1997 and joined Clark Metal Products in June of that year. He served as Sales Manager through 2005 before being promoted to Vice President of Sales and Marketing. And now as President, David leads the company's strategic planning activities as well as its continuous improvement initiatives.
Dave Kemerer, Director of Quality
Dave earned his Journeyman's papers in Tool and Die Design in 1985. After working at Dyna-Craft Industries for 17 years, Dave accepted the position of Quality Assurance Manager at Clark Metal Products. In his time with Clark Metal, Dave has consolidated all quality-related documentation into an electronically controlled on-line system, and he has developed a database system for recording and trending corrective action information. Dave serves as Management Representative for the company's ISO 9001 Business Management System and is a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
Paul Labuda, Director of Finance & IT
Paul graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 1982 with a B.A. in Business Economics and a specialization in Accounting. In 1994 Paul received his M.B.A. from Robert Morris University. He accepted a position as Accounting Manager at Clark Metal Products and was eventually promoted to Controller. And now as Director of Finance & IT, Paul is responsible for the overall Accounting, Finance, and IT operations at Clark Metal and serves as the Corporate Treasurer.
Jason Miller, Director Planning & Materials
Jason has over 20 years of experience in Production Control, relating to CNC machining and metal fabrication. He also has experience in multiple ERP systems, advanced planning modules and shop floor data collection systems. Prior to joining Clark Metal Products, Jason's manufacturing experience had included work in the electro-optical, defense contracting, aerospace and medical device manufacturing fields. Since joining Clark Metal Products in August 2017, he oversees the production planning, procurement and material receipt functions.
Ellen Starry, Director of HR
Ellen graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1984, with a B.A. in Business Administration and a M.A. in Industrial & Labor Relations. She also earned her SPHR in 2003. Ellen joined the Clark Metal team in 2011 after 20 years of service with a prominent replacement window manufacturer. There she held roles as both Customer Service Manager and HR Manager as the company grew to over 400 associates. In her role as Director of Human Resources, Ellen oversees all Human Resource activities and helps to set Clark’s strategic direction. Ellen served on several area advisory boards and is the past President of the Indiana County Area Society for Human Resource Management.
Tony Strini, Director of Operations
Tony began his career at Clark Metal Products as a welder in March of 1992. In 2000, he was promoted to the role of Production Supervisor where was in charge of production scheduling and promoting Lean manufacturing activities throughout the plant. Tony continued to ascend through the organization, holding the positions of Continuous Improvement Coordinator, Production Planning Manager and Director of Planning & Materials. In 2014, Tony assumed the role of Director of Operations. Among his many duties in this capacity, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the business, directs capital equipment evaluation and acquisition, and leads Clark Metal’s lean manufacturing initiatives.
Ron Traister, Director of Sales & Marketing
Ron is a graduate of Eastern Westmoreland Machine Technology and of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Apprenticeship for Tool and Die Making. Before coming to Clark Metal Products, Ron worked as Operations Manager for a high-speed metal stamping facility that designed and manufactured precision metal stampings and tooling. Ron served as Clark Metal's Engineering Manager for 8 years and helped restructure the department and implement Solid Modeling as a standard working tool. In his current role as Director of Sales & Marketing, Ron is responsible for all of the company's outside sales activities.
